The finalization of self-evaluation report (SER) for FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) was held in the Ballroom of UNP Hotel and Convention on Monday (22/1). This accreditation program is followed by some study programs in Universitas Negeri Padang that are divided into three clusters from four faculties (Faculty of Languages and Arts, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Social Science and Faculty of Sport Science).
English Literature lecturers together with other study programs in Cluster two started to prepare the documents for SER since May 2023 involving various parties such as lecturers, students, alumni, users, etc. The assessment in FIBAA includes various indicators including the teaching process, the facilities, research conducting by the lecturers and students, the management of the department and the success of the alumni.
“This FIBAA accreditation is intended to ensure the quality of education provided by English Literature study program and Universitas Negeri Padang in general,” said Delvi Wahyuni, head of the English literature study program.
At the end of the interview, Delvi Wahyuni added that after this SER submission process, the faculty will prepare for the visitation by the FIBAA authorities. Hopefully everything runs well and we get what we want to achieve. ( HY/ RY)
