Prof. Dr. Jufrizal, M. Hum. is a distinguished professor in the field of Linguistics, specializing in Anthropological Linguistics, Historical Comparative Linguistics, Dialectology, Linguistics Research Methodology, and Studies on Phonetics and Phonology. He also teaches courses such as the History of the English Language and conducts seminars on various linguistic topics.
Prof. Jufrizal’s research is particularly focused on the Minangkabau language. His recent studies include “Minangkabau Diathesis System: A Typology Linguistics” (2021), “Minangkabau Lexical Typology: A Typology and Hierarchy Acceptance Analysis” (2020), and “Markedness in Minangkabaunese Morphosyntactic: A Typology Linguistics Study” (2019).
