Every course at ELSP uses two teaching approaches; Case Method and Project Based Learning and decides what form of examination to use, i.e., Paper Based or Project Based. Each form of examination truly examines the achievement of the course learning outcomes which are carefully considered by the lecturers with predetermined indicators. For example, in a theoretical thinking course, students are assessed through exploring several case studies by implementing their knowledge and competencies in the Paper-based form. In contrast, for courses that integrate theoretical concepts and practices, students will be assessed in a Project-Based form to demonstrate their ability and understanding in applying the concepts clearly stated in the syllabus.
Thesis Writing Guidebook and Thesis Completion Guidebook, both published and provided by ELSP, are freely accessible to students on the study program website including other necessary research documents. As part of the thesis assessment, indicators for the thesis final exam are also accessible. The purpose of writing the final project is to provide opportunities for students to be able to formulate ideas, concepts, attitudes and creativity in an integrated and comprehensive research report. Additionally, students can publish articles in relevant scientific journals and convey their findings in a format that is widely used among the scientific community.
