Witri Oktavia, S.Pd., M.Pd.

Witri Oktavia, S.Pd., M.Pd., is a dedicated educator with a Master’s degree in English education from Universitas Negeri Padang, which she completed in 2014. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, she is also an interpreter and an active member of the Association of Indonesian Translators (HPI) and the Association of Indonesian Conference Interpreters (AICI).

In her teaching role, Witri focuses on various aspects of English language proficiency. She teaches Intermediate and Advanced Grammar, Grammar for TOEFL, as well as Paragraph and Essay Writing. Additionally, she shares her expertise in interpretation, offering courses on English-Indonesia Interpretation and Introduction to Translation and Interpretation. Witri is also engaged in research related to interpretation and literature. Her work includes an analysis of translation techniques in hortatory texts by English Department students of UNP and a study on Indonesian English Department students’ reading habits and attitudes toward literature in English.
