On May 17, 2024, the English Language and Literature Department held a Talent Scouting event at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Languages and Arts. This event gave students the chance to show their skills in seven different areas: Writing, English Debate, Japanese Language Presentation, Quran Recitation (MTQ), Digital Arts and Creativity, Sports, and Entrepreneurship.
Each area was led by one or two faculty members who guided and supported the students. The event was open to students who started their studies in 2022 and 2023. Many students participated, showing their enthusiasm and talent.
“The Talent Scouting event was a great opportunity for students to explore their interests and improve their skills. It also helped build a sense of community and friendly competition among the students,” said Fitrawati, the coordinator of this program. The day was filled with creativity, intellectual challenges, and athletic activities, highlighting the diverse talents of the students in the English Language and Literature Department. The department plans to hold more events like this in the future to continue supporting and recognizing student talent. ( HY)
