Lecturers from the English Literature Study Program at Universitas Negeri Padang enthusiastically contributed in university Halal bi Halal event on Tuesday, 8 April 2025, at the UNP Auditorium. This gathering was marked as the first week of classes following the Idul Fitri celebration. This event supported a spirit of togetherness and recommenced academic energy.
The Halal bi Halal was a momentous event for the entire UNP academic community and was led by the Rector of UNP, Krismadinata, Ph.D. To demonstrate the solid sense of unity, this gathering was attended by the Coordinator of the English Literature Study Program and followed by all lecturers. The participation of all lecturers members in this Halal bi Halal emphasizes their commitment as apart of UNP community.
In his speech, Rector Krismadinata, Ph.D., restated UNP’s vision to be a world-class university, highlighting the united concern of all academic members in accomplishing this goal. His speech assisted as an inspirational call of the first week of the class after the holiday of Idul Fitri. The Halal bi Halal event was more consequential with a tausiyah by Dr. Suhefri, M.Ag, lecturer from UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. His meaningful tausiyah afforded valuabele of Islamic lesson. (SARI)
