On September 14, 2024, the English Literature Program at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) launched the “Study Buddy” program for first-year students enrolled in the Grammar course. This initiative aims to support new students by providing them with additional practice and guidance on the grammar concepts they have learned.
Third and fourth-year students were trained to assist the freshmen in implementing the grammar lessons from the previous week. The “Study Buddy” sessions are held every two weeks on Saturdays under the supervision of Grammar course lecturers. This program fosters collaboration and peer learning, helping first-year students to strengthen their grammar skills with the support of their senior peers. (HY)
