On Friday, August 23, 2024, the English Literature program together with all members of English Language and Literature Department at Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) warmly welcomed its new students for the 2024/2025 academic year. The event took place at the Faculty of Language and Arts pavilion, where faculty members and senior students gathered to greet the newcomers.
The orientation session aimed to introduce the new students to the academic environment, program structure, and extracurricular opportunities within the department. Various activities were organized to help the students feel at home and build a sense of community.
Faculty members, including the head of the department, provided insights into what students can expect during their studies, offering advice and encouragement to help them succeed in their academic journey. Senior students also shared their experiences, providing valuable tips on how to navigate university life.
