On June 15, 2024, the English Language and Literature Department successfully held the final project showcase for the SEA (Spoken English Activity) course at the Mursal Esten Theater, FBS. The event was inaugurated by Vice Dean 1 of FBS, Dr. Havid Ardi, S.Pd, M.Hum, and the Head of the English Language and Literature Department , Dr. Yuli Tiarina, S.Pd, M.Pd.
This event provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and enhance their English language skills in public speaking. Seven categories were featured, including Master of Ceremony, Vlog, Speech, Singing, Storytelling, News Reading, and Dubbing and Subtitling. At the end of the event, outstanding performers were recognized in each category.
The event was closed with a sing-along session led by SEA course coordinator, Devy Kurnia Alamsyah, S.S, M.Hum. This showcase not only highlighted students’ talents but also served as a valuable opportunity to hone their communication skills in English. (HY)
